From scripture we know that Jesus was in the beginning; John 1:1, \u201cin the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God\u2026..\u201d  The word became a man in John 1:14, \u201c\u2026..the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us\u2026..the only begotten of the Father\u2026..\u201d  Man was created to look like his creator; Gen. 1:26, \u201c\u2026..Let us make man in our image, after our likeness\u2026..\u201d  Mankind has never seen God, but mankind has seen Jesus.  Jesus was a man and Adam was the first man; therefore Jesus and Adam are the same image and likeness.
