There are some individuals out there who contends that Jesus is never coming back to receive his saints.\u00a0 This thought process is scriptural; 2 Peter 3:4, <\/span>\u201c\u2026..saying, where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were<\/em> from the beginning of the creation.\u201d\u00a0 Scripture stated that these events would take place and they are happening just as prophesied.\u00a0 We have to bear in mind that all of Jesus\u2019 words are true; John 14:6, <\/span>\u201cJesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life\u2026..\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowing that all things that Jesus has promised will be fulfilled, let\u2019s take a closer look at his word concerning his return for the saints.\u00a0 Jesus told the disciples that it was necessary for him to go away; John 16:7, <\/span>\u201c\u2026..I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away\u2026..\u201d\u00a0 This going away<\/em> that Jesus mentioned, was signifying his death, burial, and resurrection.\u00a0 We know all of these things did take place; making his word true, or in fact; come to pass.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus also promised that if he go away that he would return for us; John 14:3, <\/span>\u201c\u2026..if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there<\/em> ye may be also.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 We know that he ascended to heaven; Acts 1:9, \u201c\u2026..while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.\u201d\u00a0 Again, his words have been fulfilled.\u00a0 According to the scriptures, Jesus will return from heaven in the clouds just as he departed on a cloud; Mark 14:62, <\/span>\u201c\u2026..and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At the time this article was written, this particular promise has not been fulfilled, but we have to wait on all things until their proper season; Heb. 10:37<\/span>, \u201c\u2026..yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.\u201d.\u00a0 When he returns there will be no doubt; Rev. 1:6, <\/span>\u201cBehold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him\u2026..\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
