Priscilla is the wife of Aquilla. She lived in Italy with her husband, but Claudius, the leader of Italy forced them to leave the country. They traveled to Ephesus, where they met Apollos. Priscilla is also known as Prisca.
Aquilla was a Jew and the husband of Priscilla. He was born in Italy, but he and his wife relocated to Corinth because Claudius, the Italian leader, demanded that all Jews leave Rome. Aquilla means eagle, and his occupation was a tentmaker. Aquilla and his wife traveled with Paul to Ephesus, where they met Apollos.
