Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

The Handwriting on the Wall is a message that mysteriously appeared on the palace wall at one of king Belshazzar's official celebrations. The contents of the writing were MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. No one understood the writing or its meaning. Finally, Belshazzar sent for Daniel to interpret the script. The writing interpretation was:
- MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom and finished it.
- TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
- PERES; Thy kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. Please note, Daniel substituted UPHARSIN with PERES, but both words have the same Strong's number; therefore, they have the same meaning. The singular form is PERES and UPHARSIN is the plural form.
